Just played a game of BC2, this guy was in my squad, watched him for a while, cheating cunt.
Anyway here is his stats:
He finished the round with a k/d of 40/2
Was funny but sad to watch, he knew exactly where everyone was, jumped up shot, killed, hid again, wanker. |

Fitted the new HDMI cable, all I can say is fuck me wow!!!! TBH I wasn't sure if there would be much difference between DVI and HDMI, but after tweaking a few colour and display settings the visual results are amazing.
Anyway here are the latest benchmark results, not much difference in the fiqures but the picture vibrance and quality is noticibly improved. Intersting to note was my CPU varied between 9% and 16% with the GPU maxing out at 98%, mmmmmm, I'm sure there is major room for improvement but Iv'e never been one for overclocking so it stay as it is.

Just wondered what aspect ratio people are running BC2 in, 16:10 or 16:9 ?
Also has anyone tried changing the default FOV from 55 to say 90? |

Info for anyone getting BSOD whilst running win 7 and BC2, well Relmus really.
Came accross this whilst doing some research mate, might help??
Also found yet ANOTHER issue , not so much with the game, but with Windows 7 .
This may ALSO be contributing to some of the other BSOD posts I have seen .
HID trys to take control and STOP some drivers and devices from working off their own drivers and giving them a preset Microsoft default driver to use causing a major conflict that leads to BSOD .
So the fix is this ....
IF YOU ARE NOT RUNNING A PLUG AND PLAY ANYTHING, only devices with manufacture drivers, turn off the HID in your tast manager .
control - alt - delete to acsess task manager .
Under "services" look for a service called "hidserv" .
Now turn it off .
This has now stopped the HID from interfering and causing BSOD ( blue screen of death ) on windows 7 .
You can alternately delete the HID .exe from your system32 files for a more permenant fix if you are capable of doing so ( have enough computer knowledge ).
If not, just simply shut it off in your task manager .
Happy gaming people !!! |

For those of us who run AVG and BC2, been suffering from slow spawn and generaly laggy play? Well here's the fix:
For AVG users Add the BFBC2 folder in your "My Documents" to the anti-viruses exeptions-list. That’s “Directory Excludes” and I also put it in “Excluded Files” too. Since then have had no lag getting back into games at all!!! Runs as smooth as silk!!!!!
Works a treat |
